CHAMPAGNES:

Many different kinds of Champagne are available such as: Rose, Blanc de Blanc, Brut and Vintage, etc, etc.
 
VEUVE:

Historically in the Champagne area there is a high percentage of the population that are Widows, mainly due to the 1st World War (1914-1918). The two large Marne battles (Sept 6th to the 12th 1914 and May 27th to August 6th 1918). These battles took their toll on the civilian population. Even today you will find some destroyed villages in the red zone of the old military camps of Suippes.
 
MARIE – BLANCHE DELESCAUT:

This is our brand, it is the first name and the surname of my maternal Great Grandmother, a native of the Marne countryside and was living in the village of Loivre (51 Marne).
 
WHO AM I?

Christophe Trouillard. I am from a long line of Champagne family producers recognised in the Champagne vineyards and by my peers over several generations. From the beginning ‘I fell into the pot’ my vineyards and wine producing knowledge pushed me in the same direction as my Forefathers.
 
FAMILY TREE (Simplified and limited to 20th & 21st Century):

Lucien Trouillard: My Great Grandfather living at ‘La Pointe a Pitre’ part of Vinay village (51 Marne countryside). Now the hostel La Broqueterie stands on this place.
 
Jean Trouillard: My Grandfather who used to live at Rue Godart Roger 12, in Epernay. The main house of Champagne Trouillard and afterwards: OUDINOT/JEANMARIE/BEAUMET. Now these caves are owned by Champagne Gosset.
 
Michel Trouillard: My Father, director and majority shareholder of Champagnes Trouillard/De Venoge until it was sold in 1980. Owner of Champagne Oudinet (Avre) from 1981.
 
Christophe Trouillard: Original owner of Champagne Jean Marie and subsequently owner of vineyards in the Champagne area until 2004.
